The ring pictured shows how much I recess the wildlife scenes below the ring's surface. I like to think of my work as miniature wildlife sculptures in gold. To protect these sculptures I relief carve them as far below the surface as possible. The bottom of the ring pictured above right shows our European style shank, a standard feature on every ring we make. When properly fitted it prevents the ring from turning and becoming uncomfortable. To get this proper fit we realign and wax-up new corners on each piece ordered, adding comfort, balance and durability. |
